Fitness Tech Startup Insane AI Launches AI-Based Fitness App

AI-Based fitness app has been launched by fitness technology startup Insane AI. A smartphone app created by the Bengaluru-based startup turns the phone’s front camera into a smart workout partner, according to a release. The app’s AI-powered Workout Tracking technology provides precise motion tracking with any smartphone, allowing it to evaluate how effectively the user executes each exercise and assist in real-time posture and form correction.

Two IIT Bombay classmates created the startup Insane AI, which was supported by $900,000 in seed funding from pi Ventures, Anupam Mittal, Sameer Pitalwalla, and other sports, fitness, and tech angels. It is based on scientifically proven theories about habit development and offers users tangible rewards for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Users of iOS and Android devices will be able to access the mobile version through the Google Play Store and App Store, respectively. The software took more than a year to develop and test, and it was created by a team that included qualified fitness trainers, AI developers, and gamification experts. It has been put to the test by over 100,000 registered users in India and Europe, and it is used by working professionals and athletes for their training and conditioning.

The app provides a variety of guided physical activities, including HIIT, cardio, muscle training, yoga, balance exercises, and unique agility drills. Users are kept interested in the interactive workout screen through visual signals and real-time feedback. Users of the app can also get information about past performances and workouts.

Anurag Mundhada who is the co-founder of Insane AI, stated: “Many people nowadays are scared by the requirements to be fit. Finding the ideal gym, scheduling workouts, paying for training, or finding the proper trainer are all challenges. Starting your fitness journey is easy and enjoyable with the Insane app”.

Insane AI co-founder and head of product Jayesh Hannurkar stated, “In the next two to three years, we hope to develop Insane into a first-of-its-kind fitness metaverse focused around narratives, content, and storylines.”
