This year, “Startup India Innovation Week” will be held from January 10 to 16 to honour the Indian startup ecosystem and National Startup Day. It is organized by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
According to Shruti Singh, Joint Secretary of DPIIT- Startup India Innovation Week 2023 will include knowledge-sharing sessions for business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, and other enablers. These sessions will include relevant stakeholders from the startup ecosystem, including government officials, incubators, corporations, and investors.
Additionally, as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, a number of startup-related activities are being organised in more than 75 locations throughout the nation in an effort to encourage entrepreneurship and innovation by involving the startup community nationwide. These occasions include, among others, conferences, capacity-building workshops, stakeholder roundtables, mentorship workshops, training for incubators, and startup pitching sessions.
On January 16, DPIIT will honour the winners of the National Startup Awards 2022, a centrepiece programme under Startup India, to mark National Startup Day.
