Bharti Airtel Acquired a Stake in Aqilliz Startup

Bharti Airtel’s Acquisition: Bharti Airtel, a leading telecommunications provider, has purchased a stake in Aqilliz, a blockchain-based digital marketing firm based in Singapore.

Aqilliz offers Atom, a blockchain platform that allows businesses to design solutions to connect with consumers by displaying relevant material to them via a distributed digital ledger.

Middleware technology is provided by the firm in order to create a collaborative digital marketing environment that is interoperable for all of its participants. According to the business, organizations may utilize the platform to do complex analytics while maintaining the privacy of customer data. Because the system is built on distributed ledgers, all players must trust one another, exchange data, and combine proprietary technology. This, in turn, is intended to benefit the ecosystem by providing greater real-time analytics and more efficient marketing.

“Blockchain technology is developing, and we’re seeing it used in places like adtech, the creative economy, and loyalty programmes,” said Adarsh Nair, CEO of Airtel Digital.

Airtel will integrate Aqilliz’s blockchain technology into its adtech domains, including Airtel Ads, Wynk Music, and the Airtel Thanks App, as well as the Airtel Xstream, which is the company’s online payment bank for recharges and rewards claims.

“Traditional consumer interaction, marketing, and advertising solutions are created for centralized datasets,” Gowthaman Ragothaman, Aqilliz’s founder, said. “Managing value exchanges between firms, platforms, and consumers is already pivoting to the future of the digital economy “.
