Sheroes acquires Bengaluru-based online career restart platform Women Restart

Sheroes, India’s largest growth network for women, has acquired Bengaluru-based online career restart platform, Women Restart, for an undisclosed amount in a bid to strengthen its presence in Bengaluru and helping its community. Sairee Chahal, founder of Sheroes, said that “Sheroes already lends holistic support and space, both professional and personal, to its community of women through various products, and its online communities on the Sheroes app. The aim is to strengthen women in their personal and professional pursuits. This acquisition will integrate with those efforts”.

Women Restart was born due to challenges women face in restarting their career. It acts as a support system for women wanting to make a career comeback by helping them in developing an understanding of their own job readiness and familiarizing them with the latest trends and technologies used in the workplace. Sheetal Arora, founder of Women Restart, added that “Sheroes has been building a community of women from across the country, helping them find mentorship, resources and a circle of support. It has done some stellar work by building and leading this category. This integration will allow us to leverage their vast network and reach out to a broader section of women seeking growth”.
