Pravaig: Bengaluru-based startup supplies batteries for European forces

Pravaig, a Bengaluru-based startup, has been tasked with supplying European combat forces with tiny energy storage systems. According to Pravaig, the Made in India tactical batteries will power instruments used by European combat forces.

M2M Factory and AMG Pro, which are huge distributors of defense and vitality products to European military forces with over 90 manufacturers such as Under Armour, Defcon, Casio, Magnum, and Leatherman, are actually manufacturing tactical batteries in India with Pravaig.

According to the corporate statement, the Pravaig Field Pack will be provided to the defense producer.

“These batteries were created, conceived, and engineered in India. This supply represents a significant shift in India’s defense situation. A turning point in India’s high-tech defense industry’s transformation from users to developers, importers to exporters. In the statement, Pravaig CEO Siddhartha Bagri stated, “An achievement deemed unattainable just a few years ago.”

The modern soldier is as much a cyborg as a human, with electronics playing an important role in their arsenal.

According to the statement, Pravaig’s Field Pack provides enough energy for a modern soldier and their equipment to charge a MacBook 60 times.

“We demonstrated to Pravaig the challenges faced by soldiers in desert, snow, urban, and woodland areas, and they came up with an excellent solution to meet the energy demands.” The Pravaig Field Pack will be on display at EuroSatory, Europe’s largest military show,” said David Amsellem, CEO of AMG Pro.

“Pravaig took this solution from concept to creation in 60 days, which is unprecedented in the worldwide defense sector,” said M2M Factory Director Jeremie Caron.

The small, powerful, and waterproof batteries bring up a world of possibilities for powering personal tools, putting remote sensors and communication relays in the area, and remotely hibernating and activating much larger machinery.
