MediaTech Startup Accelerator: IIIT Hyderabad & Arka Media Works Launches a New Accelerator Program

After running multiple successful accelerator programs in the DeepTech and MedTech spaces and supporting over 380+ startups, IIIT Hyderabad’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) has launched the Media-Tech Startup Accelerator in collaboration with Arka Media Works.

The accelerator programs are aimed to find, foster, and expand start-ups working on novel solutions and AI applications in the fields of virtual production, web 3.0 (blockchain, metaverse), media, and journalism.

The programs assist entrepreneurs in using IIITH’s cutting-edge research, providing domain mentoring, market access, seed funding, and client relationships in order to help them realize their particular goals within the program timeframe. Professor Ramesh Loganathan (Professor and Head of CIE at IIIT Hyderabad) and Shobu Yarlagadda (Co-Founder and CEO of Arka Media Works) will serve as Chief Mentors for the cohorts. The Indian government’s Department of Science and Technology (DST) also supports this program.
