Indian Woman-Led Deep Tech Startup Instoried Raises Investment

Instoried, a deep tech platform, said on Thursday that it has received a $200 million commitment from global investment company GEM Global Yield. The money will be used to expand operations abroad and create AI-based content-generating tools.

Instoried, which was founded by a woman, Sharmin Ali, utilizes artificial intelligence to assist individuals to generate more creative and vibrant material, enhancing messaging clarity, boosting headline impact, and improving empathy and tone.

The platform’s unique algorithm is powered by 30 million data points and enables a top-notch collaborative content creation tool that gives real-time feedback.

“From email to blogs, from marketing copy and advertising to long-form pieces, Instoried helps individuals express the right tone in whatever they write,” stated Sharmin Ali, also the CEO of Instoried.

The platform will continue to invest in its technology in order to expand its product line with a Google Chrome extension, a WordPress plug-in, and other features.

Following a public offering, GEM will provide a share subscription facility of up to $200 million, which can be used at the company’s discretion for a 36-month period.

Instoried intends to go public either as a SPAC (special purpose acquisition company) or an IPO.

The platform also intends to expand its leadership team and worldwide footprint.

Instoried will focus on hiring for leadership and technical jobs in the Indian market, developing the tech stack to launch their own content-generating platform, and investing in marketing in the Indian and Asian markets.
