Indian Startup Rage Coffee Raises Investment From Virat Kohli

Indian Startup Rage Coffee which makes packaged coffee products said on Wednesday that it had received backing from former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, who will also serve as its brand ambassador. The city-based business, on the other hand, did not reveal the amount of Kohli’s investment.

The startup wants to extend its online and physical reach across the country with the new funds, which will be used for marketing and distribution.

The money will also be used to increase production, create innovative new products, and hire top management expertise, according to a statement from Rage Coffee.

Rage Coffee has previously secured $5 million in expansion financing in a Series A investment round sponsored by Sixth Sense Ventures in August 2021.

“Virat is not just a world-class athlete, but also a fitness fanatic who is dedicated to an attitude that encourages a healthy lifestyle, which is in line with the Rage Coffee concept. We’re ecstatic to have him aboard “Bharat Sethi, the founder, and CEO of Rage Coffee stated.

According to Kohli, “Over the last several years, the Rage Coffee team has demonstrated exceptional commercial performance and phenomenal growth. I believe the brand has enormous potential to become one of the most recognizable coffee brands of our time.”
